London Riots
Last Week I was invited to sing with Graham Kendrick and Band. Hundreds of people turned out for the Prayer Vigil hosted by Premier Christian Radio at Methodist Central Hall, Westminster, London to pray for communities affected by the riots across England.
Church leaders led prayer for those affected by the riots and for those working on the front line, including the police and ambulance services. The congregation was also encouraged to pray for our political leaders, who are negotiating what to do in the aftermath.
Premier Christian Radio are planning a series of similar events in key cities across the country. The event was attended by 800 people. Many of Graham’s hymns are among my all-time favourites particularly Servant King. As Contemporary music co-ordinator at Central hall I had a part in organising the technical/musical equipment for the event and felt very blessed when Graham invited me to join with the band on the day.

- Update Update Update
Hi everyone thought it was time for an update. I am now living in London and studying full-time at the London School of theology. I have recently acquired a part-time position as contemporary music coordinator at Methodist central Hall Westminster. I find because of my full-time studies and my commitment at central Hall that I am not able to engage in music Ministry as much as I used to and not touring as much. However, I'm still making myself available to play outreach concerts on Fridays and Saturdays across England. If you or your church would be interested in hosting a concert or would like me to be involved in your worship event, then please don't hesitate to get in touch and we can arrange something.
College
I love living in London and studying at LST. Coming from the Highlands of Scotland and moving to the big city is a big change for me and I am slowly getting used to the London buzz and the underground train system. The course I am engaged in is an undergraduate degree course in theology and worship. The theology modules are helping me to gain a deeper understanding of the Scriptures and the worship and music Ministry modules are helping me to develop my creativity which I hope will be of benefit to my music Ministry and every day evangelism. I've often been asked what I hope to do at the end of this course. I have it in my heart to be a worship pastor when I graduate and find full-time employment in a church, however God may have different plans for me so for the moment I'm just in a keeping my focus on studying and my eyes open for whatever opportunities might bring my way.
Methodist central Hall

I'm delighted to take up my new position as contemporary music coordinator at Methodist central Hall. At the moment I'm employed on a preliminary basis, but I'm very much enjoying being part of the mission of Methodist central Hall in the heart of London. My main duties involve developing the music and worship at the Thursday night sanctuary gatherings and introducing contemporary songs into the more traditional Sunday service.
Prayer requests
Thank you to everybody who has supported me and upheld me in prayer over the last two years. Please continue to pray for me. Pray that God would continue to develop my spiritual gifts through my studies at College and through my involvement at Methodist central Hall Westminster.
NCM awards

I will be attending the new Christian music awards on Sunday February 20th hope to see you there.

This modern gospel- balladeer from bonnie Scotland has an engagingly strong vocal-sound with a gentle urban-folk flavour and touches of earlier big-voiced Scottish balladeers. His vocalized zeal encapsulates his enthusiasm-to-succeed in communication. The songs, mostly written by the talented JAW are autobiographical at times (one suspects), direct-and-honest, packaged musically in easy-on-the-ear styling. He comes known to me as an expanding talent gaining quite a foothold in Scotland and England. This fine, uncomplicated album is clearly, a labour-of-love; an album worth searching out.
